Reciprocal Agreement with the Algerian Copyright Society
American Mechanical Rights Agency, Inc. (AMRA) signed a new agreement with the Algerian Copyright Society ONDA and hopes to establish hereby a new relationship on the African continent. Not only AMRA is representing ONDA, also our copyrights are now protected in Algeria.

Representation Agreement with Israel's Author Society
American Mechanical Rights Agency, Inc. (AMRA) announces an agreement to collect and represent mechanical rights on behalf of ACUM – the official organization representing Israeli creators and publishers of music. This agreement makes it possible to request and license the usage of Israeli copyrights.

September 2007 The Southern African Music Rights Organisation (SAMRO) is now represented by AMRA in the United States. Based on a reciprocal agreement AMRA's works will also be represented by SAMRO.

CISAC and BIEM Membership
At its annual meeting in Brussels on June 1, 2007, the CISAC General Assembly admitted AMRA as a full member of CISAC. CISAC, the International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers, works towards increased recognition and protection of creators' rights. CISAC numbers 219 authors' societies from 115 countries and indirectly represents more thaan 2.5 million creators within all the artistic repertoires: music, drama, literature, audio-visual works, graphic and visual arts.
